Panda with new Magnaflow muffler

I visited the muffler shop of my long time friend Gammy.i got tired of the muffler pulling black carbon to my bumper and i decide to change the muffler with the last part of piping too..

That's a DC Sport 2" Muffler (For Sale) that was on my car.

My car have a 2 1/2" custom exhaust but the previous owner in the back of the exhaust put a muffler that the inlet measure was 2"<--bad idea and also is a bad idea put a stock oem muffler in there..

This is a EVO OEM Muffler look at all the restriction..

Same goes for this and the mayority of stock oem muffler looks like this..The hotter the air, the faster and more freely the air will move. The cooler the air, the slower and more restricted it will be. So, air coming into the Down Pipe is very hot air. It does not need as big of an opening to flow. But, as the air travels down the exhaust pipe, it cools off and needs more space to keep it flowing at the same rate. A narrower Down Pipe is ok. But, for example going from 3" to 2.5" at the very end of the exhaust is a bad idea. You want to stay the same size or get larger in diameter. After that said, the previous owner of my car make an error and i need to fix that,so i decide to make the last part of the exhaust new in 2 1/2" like all the exhaust system with a 2 1/2" muffler too. First off i decide to mount a Magnaflow Muffler Round Style with a Magnaflow Tip.. Second i decide to mount the muffled angled..<-- Why angled Well i want the muffler angled because you have less bends in the piping and have less restriction. But, i don't want that extreme degree upward tilted exhaust because this put the back of the muffler and piping lower to the ground and if you hit something or if the car is lowered and this area hit the ground you're likely to crack the turbine exhaust housing, crack the exhaust manifold or strip the exhaust manifold screws another reason is because the exhaust fumes coming out of the muffler along with carbon etc are pulled to your bumper too.

This pic is the extreme degree
upward tilted exhaust angle that im talking about..Well,i proceed to remove the old muffler and cut the last part of piping..We place the muffler in the mounting location without welding to visualize, look and decide the angle and the right location, after that we make the bends to the new piping and start welding the piping clamps and muffler in place..After installed WHAT A DIFFERENCE this muffler looks, performs and sound amazing..i always use magnaflow in turbo cars, top quality mufflers to me one of the best exhaust brands. Now i need to paint white the bumper because of the black carbon that the old muffler pulled to the bumper.
This is how it looks remember i need to paint the bumper when i paint it i post pics.
Soon i can get a video im gonna post it..

Note: Better make sure that your installed custom exhaust will
give you increased engine efficiency, performance, power output, and simultaneously decreased overall wear and tear on the engines' components...

This is the new Magnaflow 2 1/2" Muffler with Magnaflow Tip installed on my car..

Look at those welds gammy is a monster :-D
